About Carnel

Born and raised in New Jersey, I consider myself a dynamic drummer performing across multiple bands and musical styles. From high-energy live shows to intimate sessions, I bring rhythm, groove, and precision to every stage.

Drummer turned multi-instrumentalists, songwriter, and producer my musical foundation began behind the orchestra. With 25 years and counting of experience as a drummer, rhythm has always been the backbone of my sound. As my artistic voice evolved, so did my curiosity for learning other instruments leading me to branch out to guitar, bass, keys and vocals.

That expansion marked a turning point. No longer confined to one role, I began writing and producing my own music, something I always dreamed of doing when I was young. The result is a body of work rooted in groove and emotion, blending alternative, lofi, rock, blues, jazz, funk, reggae, hip-hop, and trance- tribal influences into introspective and textured arrangements.

Tracks such as “EMR” (featuring Santo Alejandro) and my album “Boarding” showcase a sound that is trancing, melodic, and rhythmic. Each release was made with intention, drawing listeners into a unique soundwave in time.

My music and playing is about authenticity and connection. Every song, every hit, every note struck, is an attempt to translate thoughts and emotions into sound that capture moments of vulnerability, clarity, and growth.

Music builds a connection like nothing else and I believe that power to communicate without words is one of the reasons I create and would love to see you at my shows!!!
